The particular material used, the thickness and flow of the glaze , the condition of the kiln play an important role on each individual piece and no one piece is identical to another.
The glazes used by the artist are a result of 20 years of investigation : minerals and water onto earth, then fire; Masi’s tea bowls evoke her distinguished poetic universe crafted into clay.
